  Price promise
As per the Sunday Times Home Supplement quoted "...the most affordable replacement kitchen door company on the internet...", We will beat any like for like quotation for replacement kitchen or bedroom doors submitted to us. The reason for this is that we are already a long established kitchen company with an excellent reputation and by sticking with our ethos of offering the public trade competitive prices. We do not use lower quality materials or take any shortcuts in the production of our doors compared with the other companies, we just have the buying power to bring the doors to you at the best possible prices. Call for more information.

  Drilling
Kitchen Doors and bedroom doors are sold un-drilled as standard but can be drilled for a small nominal fee of 50p per hole. This works out at £1-00 per door in most cases. Drilling will be done using a 35mm 'bit' and a standard distance in from the outside of the door. The hinge hole measurements we require from you is as follows; 1. The distance from the TOP of kitchen door or bedroom door to the CENTRE of the TOP hinge hole and 2. The distance from the BOTTOM of the door to the CENTRE of the BOTTOM hinge hole. We also need to know in the majority of cases as to which side the kitchen door or bedroom will be hung from. This can be done by looking at the front FACE of the door and imagining that it is see-through, the side OPPOSITE to the HANDLE is the Hinging side. Example: You look at your door with the handle on the Left so it is Right Hand Hinged or RHH. If you do not ask for drilling prior to production, we will not undertake any drilling after this time as it would not be covered in the Confirmation of Order.Drilling measurements have to be presented to us in the following format otherwise we cannot accept responsibility for any human error. If you need this clarifying, just ring (0871)2227845. We have a natural tolerance of 2mm when drilling hinge holes & would always suggest installing new hinges with new doors.
Example: Door 715x495 drilled 85mm Top & 100mm Bottom LHH

  Delivery
The cost of delivery is 15% of the order value, minimum £22.50 & maximum £57. The delivery fee covers a Next day despatch from ourselves to the address of your choice upon completion of the doors to ensure that they reach you in impeccable condition. It also includes the meticulous wrapping of the doors in a three stage process to protect them during third-party transit. We do allow collection from our showroom Mon-Sat by prior arrangement if it is more convenient to personally receive your new kitchen doors or bedroom doors.
The lead time on the doors depends upon the day they are ordered. We operate a weekly cut-off point on Tuesday at 5.30pm and all doors ordered up to this point will come out of production 13 days later - a week on the following Monday. They are then cleaned & where necessary, drilled to your given specifications. Doors are then put in a rota for despatch from Tuesday to Thursday so that they arrive Wednesday to Friday. We do not despatch on Mondays nor Fridays as a standard procedure. We would like to remind you that  if accessories such as handles are not in stock at the time of despatch, we would hold the order until it is complete. This is due to the volume of items moving through our factory & avoids problems occuring further down the line.

If there is a a specific day you would like to receive your purchase (i.e. Wednesday, Thursday or Friday), then this should be requested at the time of the order and we will endeavour to meet that day where conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide an exact time of delivery due to our contract with the carrier although we can give you your individual consignment reference and a telephone number which allows you to 'track' your kitchen doors or bedroom doors yourself. We can offer a pre-10am, a pre-9am & Sat Am deliveries although these are subject to an additional fee which can be priced at your request. Example: Pre-10am is approximately £0.75/kilo extra which at our average weight of 30Kg per delivery, would be an extra £22.50  to be added to the carriage charge.

We must be notified of all shortages or damages within 2 days of delivery in order for us to assist you. This is the time frame we have with the carrier company to make a claim and if necessary provide evidence of the items lost/damaged in transit. It is your responsibility to check that all parcels are received and that they have no damage to the packaging. Any damage should be noted upon signing for the goods regardless of the response by the driver.

We do not guarantee the operations of a third party carrier and any late or short deliveries will not be liable to any compensatory action by Homestyle Kitchens.

  Price lists
Printable prices are avaiable from the home page clearly showing the individual prices of the different door sizes. For Made-to-Measure doors, you must move to the next size up and add 10% to that figure. Example: A York Vanilla door sized 715x495 costs £24.60 but if you required a 705x470, then as you move along the table across and down until you reach the size which spans the height and width required, you will find that it would be a 715x495. You now take the price of £24.60 and multiply it by 1.1 (10%) which gives you £27.06, this is the cost of the door. If the door was a Shaker, High Gloss or Frame, the additional percentages (20% extra for shaker and 50% for high gloss white) then this must be accounted for prior to adding the 10% surchage for Made-to-Measure specification. Still don't understand this, then you can get a price now for one or all of your items by ringing (0871)2227845.

  Payment options
We are aware of the problems with fraud on the internet and as such, offer two methods of payment by which you the customer is 100% protected. We accept both card payments & cheques, both of which can be stopped within 60 days of transaction should you not receive the goods as per the initial contract made with the seller. Cards accepted include Visa, Visa Debite, Electron, Maestro, Switch, Mastercard & Solo. We do not charge for the use of a credit card (2.25% of total transaction) but are aware that other companies do charge for the privilege.

We operate a payment prior to production system with all products purchased as they are made as required to avoid carrying stocks as well as the reality that made to measure doors are suited to an individual party. Card Payments are done over the telephone to avoid transmitting details over the internet & we process them on an RBS CNP(Cardholder Not Present) Electonic Transaction machine. We will send a customer copy attached to the invoice upon despatch of the doors for your records.

  Brochures
We do not send out brochures as all of the information, pictures & prices are shown online (all fully printable, clear & correct at the time of the launch of the website). Issuing of brochures & other literature only suceeds in pushing up the price of the doors due to the directly attributed cost. We are aware that other companies send out a multitude of glossy brochures to entice the customer but at the same time, are not entirely up front with the prices of the shown doors. We are currently working on a downloadable brochure compatible with Adobe Reader (free of charge program available at www.adobe.com) that contains individual door pictures & prices though it will not contain more information than that shown on the website.

  Sample kitchen doors
Sample kitchen doors are available from this site at £12 per door inc. delivery. These are on our standard lead time and are despatched undrilled. (Some kitchen doors are available in 1 week from request due to certain designs being stocked and this will be made clear at the time of order.)

  Shaker design
The 20% markup to the shaker design is to cover the 5-piece manufacture of the door. Drawer fronts (282mm & below in height) are not affected by this markup.

  High Gloss White
High Gloss White doors and accessories are 50% more then the others. If you choose this we will calculate the cost and send you a conformation letter to check.
High Gloss White not available in Shaker doors design, Georgian frames or Wine rack fronts.

  Non-Standard Sizes
Under most circumstances will try to supply our standard size doors, as these will normally be a better match to your units. We will always initially move widths of '97' and '96' to '95' e.g. a 715x497 moved to 715x495 as it would become a standard size but and would bring down the cost of the door/drawer.
